The Yellow Pages moment. Was the camera too high or Nigel not high enough? We'll never know....

Ergebnis: siehe Foto!

When we came across a large amount of water accumelated round a drain one cold, wet, winters day, it was hard to decide what an earth we should do with it. Should it be drunk? Perhaps sailed upon? Neither. What we did was far sicker than anyone could ever have imagined.Tom lay in the puddle for 2 minutes and we paid him 20 quid. Also we had a hot shower running for him afterwards. Sounds ideal!

Poland!

Poland!

We're in Warsaw,Poland today. We're playing the Proxima venue - it's freezing outside but it's so nice to see a line of people waiting for the show. It's our first time in Poland, but I'm impressed with the warmth of the fans here-I already hope we'll be back. Fingers crossed the show will be as good as the people-here's an image of the ticket for the show.

All Along The Watchtower

Well hello,

So we are coming to the end of another fantastic week in the life of The Answer...Here's what we've been up to...

We arrived in New York City (drunk) after the show in Boston around 4am last Sunday night.
We spent Saturday night in Boston and found its a great city. Really good Italian food and very friendly people. Looking forward to getting back there soon.

Anyway - On Monday we played the David Letterman show (which aired Friday night) and had an amazing time. We briefly got to meet the one and only Bill Cosby in the lift before the show and the also legendary Paul Shaffer (Lettermans sidekick and musical director) in the lift after the show. The people you bump into in elevators in New York is unreal!

On Tuesday we had our first official U.S. release with the Never Too Late EP. We celebrated with a 30 minute set at Virgin Megastore in Union Square, NYC, which was alot of fun (we are hoping to play a few more instores on our days off on this tour - so watch out). Afterwards we went to a great Irish Bar called McGees and I have to thank Cathal from Newry for the free beers.

Wednesday we played Madison Square Garden!!! What more can I say? And had an aftershow at Bowery Electric.

Thursday we played Madison Square Garden!!! Again!!! As I said before...What more can I say? Well, this for a start...
What an unbelieveable venue! Unbelievable crowd and unbelievable city. Loved every minute of it. There's definitely magic in that place.
AC/DC played an absolutely blinding show. We have watched them every night of this tour and it just keeps getting better and better.

Afterwards we hit a great Irish Bar called Cassidy's and I must saythanks to Linda for the free beer (can you see a habit forming here?). As you can imagine, we ended up very drunk indeed.

Friday (our so-called day off) started with a 5 hour photo shoot - but it was with one of our favourite photographers - Paul Harries, so it was all right. We went to the DUMBO (which I believe stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area of Brooklyn for the shoot and thats where this picture of Mr Paul Mahon was taken.

We all just hung out in New York on Friday night, had a few beers and watched the Letterman show. Bumped into our friends from Rose Hill Drive who were staying at the same hotel. Got a little sleep and were up at 5am and back on the bus and on the way to Washington DC by 6am.

Thats pretty much it I think...along with various other photo shoots and interviews and numerous slices of Rays Pizza dotted in between - Not a bad week at all.
Let see what this one brings...onwards and upwards.

James
