Late wake-up, around 2 p.m. Or would have been late, if I hadn't gone to bed at 7.30 a.m. Fucking tired.

After Norwich we had another off-day (we seem to have more of those than actual gigs). Some people have been a bit ill during the past days, so we've had to take it a bit easy. But of course you can have a bit of vodka for medical purposes... Stayed in a motel somewhere near Leeds. The gig itself was at the University - pretty good one. After that we watched some weird and violent movie, drank some Russki Standard and piss-Carling.

Surprise, surprise, tomorrow's an off-day. Let's see how we survive of that without brain/ liver damage. Boooooring.

In the legendary Astoria. Cardiff was a cool gig, except that I broke a string midway Rasputin. Nottingham was fucking excellent! The crowd was crazy, and we got the Fuck The Guitar Solos thing rolling properly. The off-day was spent in Hemel Hempstead, somewhere near London.

Now I'm fooking hungry and busy so byeeeee!

Greets from the backstage of the Guildhall. Awesome place. DF is running late on their soundcheck so I have time to write. We went to see the city with Nygård. The "castle" we originally wanted to check out appeared to be only a lousy gate. We anyway told the other guys that we saw a massive collection of gobelins. Lazy fuckers! Hanu has been suffering a bit of flu, hope that doesn't get the rest of us sick.

The meet'n'greets caused some conversation on our forum at www.turisas.com - they're not "private" as such, only that there's no third party, label or others involved.

Will post more when we have time, now I gotta run to prepare my violin for the check!

The tour is GO!

Late as always - it's the third day of the tour and now we finally get to actually post something. It's been good so far: we've played two shows (Oxford, Manchester) and it has been a smooth ride, except for minor technological problems. We have a new crew this time, a superman named Gus as a stage tech and really nice and organized German gentleman called Elmar as FOH/ tour manager.

The guys & the crew of DragonForce have proven to be cool as well, so it seems that this might actually be pretty nice tour with them - we'll travel with them in the UK, Ireland, US and Europe.

Enough for now - I'm a bit tired & hungoverish and we have to get ready for the show. Keep watching this space, as we hope to be able to arrange some meetings and stuff with you people, announced mainly in this blog.
